I joined Tribe in Feb 04; right off the heels of leaving MagnetHead.
I had known Tribe was searching for a keyboardist for sometime, but I never contacted them because I was playing with MagnetHead. Since I was free, I contacted them, tried out, and ended up playing both guitar and keyboards.
Tribe's music was a little more of a commercial metal, but closer to what I wrote than MagnetHead's music. We played alot of shows (some were a waste of time) and had a good following in Raleigh and had good reactions when we played out of town.
Unfortunately, personality issues brought Tribe to an end. I could tell things we starting to crack in April 04 and, in my opinion, could have been alleviated at that time. But Instead of getting rid of the problem, we just kept patching the cracks until it broke in September 04.
A fix was brought in, but, at that point, other manufactured drama popped up and the cumulative load of bullshit just broke the machine and Tribe was disbanded in January 05.
