Finally, 'Myself Deceived' is available for your listening pleasure.  It took those guys at mp3.com almost 2 damn weeks to approve it, but I guess I can't complain since it's free.  The mix actually turned out better than I thought.  Go to the downloads page and give it a listen.
     The recording of 'Fairy Tales' came to a grinding halt.   I went to do some recording of the acoustic tracks and the pickup on my new acoustic just conveniently stopped working.  I called the guys at Dean Guitars and it sounds like they are going to send me some new parts, so I should be back in business soon.
      Since I can't do any recording on 'Fairy Tales', I have started redoing the drum track for a song I originally recorded 1994 called 'Out of My Misery'.  It has some of my favorite lyrics and I am not sure why I haven't rerecorded it earlier.  It's a typically dark Aittala love song.  Check out the lyrics here. 
     I jammed with Monika this week.  We worked on one song and chose a couple other of her originals  that we are going to do at some open mic nights around town.   We'll probably get together again this week to work on the other songs.  On a bummer note, she has actually decided to move to Florida because she is fed up with the scene around here.  She isn't moving until September, so that will give us a few months to jam.
    Working with Outliar is no more.  They actually found a permanent lead singer, so they won't be needing my services anymore.  I won't be doing much jamming with Ray either because he is now working with an old-school death metal  band besides Outliar.  So his time will be limited.
