We keep killing endangered species
The fossils end up in our feces
Pictures are the only remnants
Of a once thriving existence

The world is on a definite state of decline
The question isn't if it's when will be the time
Nothing will be left for future generations
Except the flames that fired our cremation

Why do we go on destroying, the only place we can exist
Only when it's too late is when we'll wish
That we had heeded the warnings that were so clearly evident
The circumstances leading to our punishment

We advocate against but we go on abusing
It's sad but we find it so amusing
We must face the evil we commit
